Sport Godalming News -

Harry Carter, a very talented gymnast, has been awarded a grant of £500 that was presented to him by David Anderson at his school, Rodborough, on their awards day. That brings the total to 15 and some are making the headlines with their performances. None more so than Paul Wycherley the kayaker, who was selected for the 2008 GB team but unfortunately they did not qualify. Better luck in 2012.
We are very grateful indeed for a further donation from Peter Martin’s Mayor’s Fund of £1534 making a total of £4,034, a big thank you Peter from us all you have been an inspiration. Also many thanks to the Wintershall Trust and Rensburg Sheppards for their donations.
