"Health and injury problems have caused Adelle to withdraw from all major championships including the qualifiers for the European Juniors that was her target. Now getting back to fitness and took bronze in the England Athletics Senior 800m championship. So things look brighter for the remainder of the season." July 2011

Adelle secured English Schools National Senior 800m Champion in July 2010:

"What made the final so special was that prior to the race Dame Kelly Holmes had talked to all Aviva Future Stars (of which Adelle was one) telling them to give all they have got so they know they have done their best, and then immediately before Adelle's race she came across to the middle of the track to watch Adelle's race. Up until that point the public did not know she was there, then as Adelle won (Sky TV televised all the race and zoned in on Adelle as the hot favourite) she was hauled off to be interviewed on Sky TV and Sportsbeat and then the cameras went to Kelly Homes who then endorsed Adelle as being a really good athlete. After her podium glory she was again taken off to the media room where she was congratulated by Dame Kelly Holmes and she signed Adelle's race bib and wrote a congratulatory message. Adelle has wanted to claim the English Schools title for some years as many of the great athletes such as Kelly Holmes were one time English Schools Champions." Suzanne Bant

Adelle ran the South of England U20s (her new age group) in June 2010 in 400m at Crystal Palace and despite her being up against two girls who are ranked 1 and 2 for 400m in UK she managed to claim a bronze! Yesterday she ran the National AAA'sChampionships and World Trials at 800m, despite there being a fearful wind making fast times almost impossible, and Adelle was again at a disadvantage as three of the fastest girls in UK ranked 1 and 2 and 4. She tactically ran the race and claimed a Silver!

Adelle is currently a student at Midhurst Rother College where she has just completed her Art, Photography and Drama ASs. Adelle will be sitting her A levels in September 2010.
